Registration document says CRX Coupe, it's a 93K imported to UK in 2000, vin starts EG2, it has a DOHC VTEC engine and discs on the rear, been trying to find out what model it is but every site says different things
Oh yeah and it's a 1.6 but i suppose you knew that.

Can someone tell me for sure cos i'm trying to get insured now which is hard enough when you do know the model.

with the dohc engine in it, in the US it would be the "vtec" model. I'm blanking on what it would be in the UK. And all del sols were still called CRX's everywhere but north america.

that will be a cr-x delsol SiR if its a JDM into the uk m8, if you have trouble getting insured try tesco thats who im with for my jap import VXi

Yeah been asking around elsewhere, everyone almost seems in agreement that it's a delsol SiR, sorted out the insurance + went with directline...had a look at tesco, everything about their online service indicates they just use directline anyway, and they were a couple hundred more than directline.

I think that's for american cars jap cars dont have 17digits. been told that EG2 means SiR.

good call, thats what I was going to suggest. Check the VIN, it will tell you everything.

my vin on my jdm vxi is EG1-1101016 and it doenst work on that. EG2 is a jap SiR m8, i take it has been de-badged?
