I just went to my homeboy cuz his dad owns his own body/mechanic shop...i asked him to ask his pops about painting my 92 hatch...he asked if i want my windows taken out or just taped and all....full paint job (talking to his son cuz he told his dad its a small hatch and im a good friend of his) he said 500-800.00 he has to see it but no more than 800 if anything,I was like WORD!!!...so i think imma paint my whole car...I would love to see pictures of nice colors...i was thinking the s2000 silver stone metalic...but i would love to see what else is nice...thanks peace

 

silver stone is cool..im sure if you search some boards you will see what it looks like on a hatch, looks nice IMO.

 

depends on what color your interior is. If you have the tan interior it'll look :ghey:, but if you have the black or grey interior it would look titties. I hafta get pics of my metallic blue paint job up here soon.

 

Damn you lucky prick. I wish I had a hook up for a paint job. Host some pic's of your car and I am sure those photoshoppers could help you pick a color.:thumbup:

im in rochester ny......there is a gold hatch and like 4 other hatches with iight paint jobs...i just asked my boy and he know a great deal about cars since his dad owns a shop...so i got the hook up on the whole paint job....i mean my interior is gray right now but hopefully this guy that just needed a hatch for the motor will let me in on the interior (which is black)...have to call him tomorow...but ill post pics of my car ASAP...just never had the time...i was hoping to see some of your guy's favorite colored cars...well ill keep you guys posted...i got up to cuting out the rust just have to see if this kid's dad can just weld a new peice of metal and bondo it then ill wait for the paint job till like august...cuz july.....NEW MOTOR!!! laters.

 

You get what you pay for. My cousin tried to save money on his perfect turbocharged RSX's paint. He got the hook-up from this guy who runs a body-shop through a friend of his. The guy was just going to spray a pearl into it and he ****ed up the whole car. A Brand new RSX's blue paint job ruined. I told him not to do it from the get because he had never seen this guy's work but he did it anyways. He was so heart broken when he picked it up. He did'nt pay the guy but his paint is ****ed. he was so broken that he tried to trade it in on an EVO but he needed an extra 4k to get the EVO. So after he calmed down he took it to a big paint shop here and they are charging him $2,800.00 to restore it and spray the pearl. You get what you pay for. His car will look hard when with the new pearl though. He could'nt go to HIN because of it. He would have done really well too.

 

yeah i mean money talks but i am going all go and the paint job just needs to look good and lasts for as long as i have the car..It dosent have to be the greatest paint job in the world...i mean if he lets me use the gun i will paint it myself...speed is more important to me than looks but i seen this guys work and his yellow truck is done really good..he also did the camillian paint job to this guys car it came out good...so i mean i trust him doing it...later
