Default going to get BAR sticker soon... setup okay???

hey guys, i'm planing to go to a smog ref to get my BAR sticker on in a few weeks and i was wondering if i'll pass... I got a AEM cold air intake and a custom pipe with a universal R1 Racing muffler.. and the guy that installed my GSR motor wired a obd1 ecu. Well the problem is.... would it pass with my setup? would the ref guys fail me because i got a obd1 instead of obd2? and one more thing.. would the exhaust be okay? or should i spend the extra bucks for a HKS hi-power exhaust system? thanks guys

btw, I'm live in CA and i got a 94 civic hatchback CX with a 97 gsr motor (USDM)

hmmm.... the only thing i would say would get in the way would be the OBD2 engine in an OBD1 car. do you have all the extra sensors set up for OBD2? if thats all there...u should pass.

as far as the exhaust... you just need a catylitic convertor. all exhausts are legal as long as they dont pass the 92 db. sound limit.

let me know how it goes....im doing this in the near future also.

As long as your engine is US and the ecm and swap are newer than the car. You'll be fine.

The b18 came with a obd-2 ecu and since you have a obd-1 ecu you won't pass. You need a obd-2 ecu and all the sensors including AIV, carbon canister, evap, and all breathers. Just take your car to the Ref and fail then get the list of stuff you need to change so you don't do more than necessary to pass.
Take it back to the guy that did your swap and give him the list and a grip of cash and you will be ready to rock n roll
