it could easily be an ignition kill system associated with the alarm..

It could be a starter interrupt on his alarm keeping it from starting. Some alarms have these. You might have to have the alarm removed or have it towed to the shop that installed it. It might also be a short somewhere. Check all his fuses/relays. Hope this helps...

He thinks its his alarm that did it....it has a kill set up it stolen.......he just got the alarm a week before it got broken into.......the shop that put it in said they are not reliable for that:bs:

I would never do business with that shop again. Most likely an alarm feature, thats if the ignition system hasn't been tampered with by the theives (which it most likely has).

when mine did this.. and it was out the blue, nobody trying to jack it at all just a brain fart [no pun] i had to have it towed to my dealership and pay 50 bucks for a dude to come from an install place and pull the brain and reattach my ignition wires... now my brain's in my back seat (back of the passenger seat, the pouch) :chuckles:
