I just did my swap and waiting to get the hose so I can reconnect the pump etc. I don't think its worth it. I hate it when going slow.

you don't gain any hp, but you do free up horsepower and the less drag on your motor is really noticeable also.

i've power steering and i'm dying to remove it. i've drivin' lots of hybrid civic's without powersteering and i absolutely hate my power steering. the weight loss would be an added benefit to my Si hatch back.

if you simply remov the belt it's hard to drive the car when going slow. if you swap the rack it's much easier to turn ( but you turn the steering wheel more to make a u turn), and the rack is significantly lighter.

having power steering on a civic is the pits in my book. i can't wait to throw mine in the trash.

Yeah, if you replace the whole rack I'm sure it's much better better.
