[Cat back] Exhaust
Ok, I am totally new to modifying cars... so laugh as hard as you want in answer my questions. I am looking at a DC Sport Exhaust for a 92-98 Civic.
Now, I know the Del Sol is based off of a civic, so is safe to buy this item knowing that it will fit on my '93 Del Sol S?
Also, what the hell does a cat back exhaust do? (I need a new exhaust because my other piece of shit is rusting away) Will it improve or decrease my miles per gallon, because seriously thats the most important thing to me.
Thanks guys

Welcome to the board!!!
I don't think any cat back or even axle back exhaust is transferable to the sol. Maybe one from a hatch, but I'm almost possitive that it's too long. Check part numbers from online stores and see if they match.
It'll give you a few more horsepower. It's a lot less restrictive, as far as airflow, than the stock one. I've experienced improved gas mileage in all my cars, but I'm not sure if that's always the case.
Good Luck!!!
