ATTN: all those kats who changed out their bushings!!!
hey fellas, i know a bunch of you changed all the bushings on your suspension but i forgot who specifically.
... when you guys switched the bushings out of the LCA and reinstalled them, did you notice some kind of squeaky noise when trying to move the arm? this is also happening with the upper A-arm.
... is this a result of overtightening or do i need to grease wherever the bushing comes in contact with the metal frame?
... when you drove your car around, is there a noticeable difference with the ride? pros and cons... i.e.) lot more sturdy on turns, but feel every bump on the freeway?

I'm no genious but I know that earlier hondas are notorious for the rear suspension (upper ball joints, upper A-arm bushing, and tie rods) to be defective. But that is what I was told by a pro when i dropped my car.

I did too and installed grease fittings so I can just open up the fittings and shoot more grease in there.
Ride is so much better than my 45K mile OEM bushings. When you go over a bump with the OEM bushings there some after effect bouncing. Now when you go over a bump the suspension works much better and it's just no after bouncing.

Also the ES reds are supposedly not impregnanted with graphite, whereas the black ones are. Wish I would have known that before I bought mine.

grease is the answer. I soaked all my bushings in a bucket of valvoline grease for a couple days before I put them in. Probably overkill, but it worked fine. Be prepared to grunt and curse alot. Those bushings are hell to get out, especially the trailing arm bushing. yuk.
