Default how do i increase horsepower?

i have a 1.5L SOHC 8 valve engine(D15B8) in my 94 Honda Civic CX. It currently puts out 70hp. That's pretty pitaful. I would like to raise it up to 150hp with some modifications. Any suggestions?

tear her out, man, get a new engine....seriously, it will be cheap even if you take, say, a de-swapped d16 away from some 6th gen owner. They practically give those away. in fact, ive heard in kali some shop owners are putting d16s in the back alleys hoping theyll get stolen so they dont have to deal with them.

Yeah, i could put a d16 in there, but wouldn't i have to change everything around in the front end? (comp, axles, drivetrain, etc.) I am on a tight budget.

i think d16's are about 400-700 for a complete swap nowadays. my friend had a d16 swapped into his CX. overall a very good upgrade from the 8 valve CX.
