Default Metallic Panel Kit install? 2002 Civic

Hi, I just joined!
Great forum and site so far!
Anyway, my new Civic is pretty basic, as I am new to all this, and taking one thing at a time!
I wanna get the Metallic Dashboard Panel Kit for it, and I was wondering if it can be installed by me, or if I should leave it for Honda to do and pay them more to install!
Has anybody done this, or know how to change the panel kits?
(I know this a rookie question and you can tell I am not a hardcore modifier..lol)

Thanks for the help!

It should be easy enough for you to do yourself.

You are basically just putting "stickers" on top of your existing parts.

Yes, it's called a Panel Kit! lol
You know, the standard Civic would come with black vents, and center dahs console, but the options you can get are wood grain, carbon fiber, and metallic!
Nobody has heard of this, or has one of these options?
They are plastic parts, so I just need to know if you just pry them off somehow with a screwdriver or something, or if you have to take apart the whole dash or something from underneath or something etc.....
Anybody?
Thanks!

We've heard of them - just never heard them called that

Since nobody else wants to help

All you do is remove the backing on the "panel kit" to reveal the adhesive surface and you just stick it on like a sticker.

Just a note: you might get flamed here for it though, but your car, your style

You can also get the "Shift Lever Trim" as well, in the same options : MEtallic, Carbon Fiber, and Wood.......

They are actual replacement parts, not stickers I think....
