Car Died
aight i was drivin tonight it wet as shit and has been raining for the past like week and a half. hit a giant water splash thing. i think my CAI flooded my engine. i hit the water it started to sputter the oil pressure light came on and then car shut off, it wont start, wat are my chances of it starting if i let it sit? or is the engine fawked?? this sucks, **** rain. thanx for ne info on this.

hmmm....
Did water make its way to the ECU?
if not, maybe you should remove the distributor cap and let its insides dry.
Somehow, maybe reset the ECU in there somewhere.
could be other things too, let us know if it helped.

Change the oil right away, without starting it. You may have lucked out, and it could all be sitting in your oil pan. That, or it may have just shorted out an electrical connection... Either would be lucky. Might be time for a new engine.

yea i tried startin it about 10 minutes after it initially died. it tried to turn over but didnt.im hopin for new motor but the rents are being a@@holes about that. i will try to change the oil tomorrow. thanx for the help.

went back this morning to try to start the car, found the problem, nice sized hole in the block. i think its probably due to hydrolock, but this means either hunt for new car or engine swap time. ill keep everyone posted
