Insurance is a good thing. I've replaced my windshield 3 times, never spent a penny.

for small lines... steal some clear nail polish from ur gf or ur sister or ur female friends and apply to both ends of the crack on the inside of the car and outside. applie 3-5 coats, and this will prevent the cracks from spliting more. reapply every 3 months, due to weather, and car washes. this will help save the windshield till u have enough money to replace the mofo.

yuppa... got that tip from some website a while back. tried it on my last car Mazda 626LX and it worked wonders... :thumbup:
