Default 2000 Civic coolant problem!

I'm here in Sacramento where it's 90 degrees outside, and my sister is having trouble with her car. She always has the A/C running, and recently her car began to overheat while stopped. When she starts up again, it cools down to normal temp.

It is a 2000 Civic EX and I'm not too familiar with it since I'm always playing with my car. The coolant level is almost gone in the reservoir. Does that mean something else is wrong?

Also, I couldn't find a bleeder bolt for the coolant. Do 2000 Civics have coolant bleeder bolts?

have you made sure there is coolant in the radiator?

there is a plug, is located on the bottom side of the radiator, i believe its in the middle.

You also might want to check the coolant. How many miles are on the car? If there are over 30,000 miles, it's probably time to replace the coolant.
