What parts from the D16Z6 are compatible with the D16Y8
I was thinking of installing the new Edlebrock Turbo onto my Z6

What smog laws might affect me? I know the Turbo's Carb Exempt, but it was made for the Y8 only. What red tape will i run into.

What legal issues about a B16 swap? How will they Smog me...will they test me as a honda, a civic, a Si as compared to a VTEC...etc etc??

 

all the smog/swap legality issues depend on what state you live in.

 

In Cali it is very hard to smog swapped cars so most of us just get "hook up" smogs. In other states I've heard the state ref's don't give a damn - but don't quote me on that

 

here in texas, you can pretty much do as you wish
