i was wondering if the LS guage cluster would work for my 97dx hatch.

 

No way. I've seen people who did it with lots of modifications, but don't expect it to just bolt right in.

 

i have a LS cluster in my 96 DX,...its not plug and play,...there is soldering involved,..i would give you the site for it but its down at the moment,...you can see the pictures of it in the link in my sig,...it fits like ass in the picture because i havent bolted it in right yet,..oh its on the sleeper in my album

 

i have a 95 geeser cluster in mines, fitment is ok, i made it look close to stock as possible and i didnt even swap the civic plastic over. yes there is wiring, i soldered every connection and double check before goin in. mines is zip tie in. ill get pics soon.

i used this diagram and it works perfectly, i just had to swap one wire on the teg harness.

teg's blue left side plug (13 pins)

on the teg right side plug for the fuel guage.. I had a pin in the 13 spot and had to move it to the 14 spot... other than that it was perfect....

 

Just get a 99-00 Civic SI cluster.
