That's the best sunroof install I've seen yet IMO - very nice! I think it looks better than a stock one.

Yup, that's next on the list, or a swap, maybe I'll go to the next meet and check out some of your setups...

I know that they got me the largest of this model, but they said that they have an inbuilt (one that slides into the roof) for 200 more that would fit your Maxima...

I've been wanting a sunroof for quite some time, so thanks to this board, or more specifically, Fuji and WideBodyEK, I got over my anxieties about getting an aftermarket one put in.

It's a Webasto Stratos 300, and I think the shop did a great job!
Some pics, before and after....

What do you guys think?
Very nice job, looks almost just like an OEM! I think I might wanna give them a try! Thanks for the post & pics.

Question: How would water be channeled out in case of rain & car wash? I guess the possibility of water leakage into cabin or chassis has been addressed? Did they test for water leak?

Thanks, you should definitely check them out, since you're in socal. I think they may even send out one of their guys to do the install at your home or work if you want, since they go out to a bunch of dealerships anyway...

As far as leaking, I washed my car last week, and I didn't find any leaks, so I'm a happy camper. They said that the seal is really good on this model nowadays. If you get yourself an inbuilt sunroof, they would also route drain lines just like stock. I'm gonna wash the car again this weekend, use the high pressure hose this time, and see how it holds up!

If you're gonna get yours done, tell them Jeremy sent ya!

Blah! in VA it cost $1000+ to do that. i was thinking about it but rather save the money and save it for my engine.. I wish i had one though.
