Default changing spark plugs

ok, i should know how to do this but i don't
I have had the car for a while now(97 ex coupe) but i have just recently gotten serious about doing my own work. So what really goes in to changing your spark plugs. Heres what i would imagine goes in to it.
First you pull the wire off.
Next you take the plug out with a plug wrench
Next you put the new one in making sure to put anti seize on the thread and tighten it in
Last put the wire back on

Is that it? And can you tell if you have over tightened it? Thank you and help me fix my ignorance

You need a spark plug socket. It has a piece of rubber inside that keeps the plug from falling out when you go to install it. You'll want to buy plugs that are pre-gapped, or you can gap them yourself (might want to double check them anyway). Just tighten them until they are snug to avoid stripping the holes. Other than that it's pretty self explanitory.

make sure you follow the instruction manual that came with your car - it has specific instructions on how to tighten it.

The biggest thing is Anti-seize compound, and make sure you work on the engine when it's cool. Say 3-4 hours after you have run more than 1 mile. Torque down to 13-17ft/lbs, which is about finger (NOTE I SAID FINGER!) not hand tight.

Also you might want to number your wires incase you forget which one goes where. I number mine from left to right 1-2-3-4.
