which exhaust for swap

Default which exhaust for swap

my girl has a 97 dx hatch with a ex motor she wants to order a cat back exhaust will the flanges line up if she gets the one for a 96-98 hatch? or should i expect some cutting and welding? thanks

yeah as long as its for a hatch cause they are shorter than the coupe's

did you think about this question? a catback for 96-98 would of course fit a 97....since 97 comes between 96 and 98.

and greddy evo is said to be the quietest on the market.

i;m talking about the flanges a 97dx exhaust and 97 ex header sometimes both holes dont line up at the flanges

You are very correct. In a test done by Turbo Magazine, the EVO is the ONLY CAT-back to have a lower dB level at 3k RPM than at idle. I believe it had 94 or 95 dB at idle and 93 at 3k. That's why I bought it and I love it. I have a video of me at the track with it. Check it:

I think there might be a problem.

d16y7s have a different header/cat/exhaust system than d16y8s.

I think the hangers/muffler and midpipe shouldn't be a problem, but before that, you may have to weld.

but I might be completely wrong.
