I know this is kinda off topic, but does anyone else get fustrated with the annoying use of the term JDM. Especially when most ppl don't even know what the meaning of it is? Just a thought....

JDM is a buzzword around the import scene cause it's big now. all the aftermarket sellers are calling everything JDM cause most kids don't know what it is, but hear it's cool so they think that they have JDM stuff.

this market is so freaking crazy.

 

I think he knows what it means.. he's just pointing out how annoying it is that EVERYTHING is JDM now... JDM Altezzas, JDM fiberglass body kits, JDM projectors....

i know what JDM stands for, i'm not an idiot. I was just stating that the marketing is annoying when they call everything JDM when it is not. i mean come on JDM altezza's?

i think the term JDM gets into a grey area when you get into brands.. TRUST, Apex'i, 5zigen, buddy club, cwest, etc.. companies that actually have co.jp web sites and stuff like that. are they JDM? or is it USDM from a japanese company cuz they distribute here? for instance.. ADVAN. you can get em here (machiii.net) but they are JDM, no? or how about my 5zigens. i bought em from discount tire.. :dunno:

i know one thing tho.. schwanginpt's power folding side mirrors for his crx are DEFINETELY USDM RICE
