as you stated probably like the magnetic drain plug idea.. where if the magnet is strong enough any small metal debris will get stuck to it. actualy a cool idea...

outside of that i find your car completely rediculous....you are as pointed out.. a posterchild for "rice" i think that is an extremely over used term but there is nothing better to describe your ride

you then go on to write

let me fill you in on a little secret... people are not looking at your car going WOW.. they are actualy going.. uh... and what is there to look at??? lol come on are you serious??? if you are trying to make your car look like a rolling carnival you are assured success, why not just spray it every color of the rainbow.. i bet that would turn some heads..

i have no wipers at all.. and i think IF for some strange reason i wanted to use them again and they were messed up i think id probably just PAINT them FLAT black as they were intended to be...

Kabooki is cool, leave him alone. He's one of the few who takes criticism so well and sometimes listens to good advise from people who don't make fun of him. He doesn't get angry and start "yelling" (all caps) and he doesn't start calling names, but he dOEs stick up for himself which I commend him for. He likes the things that some of you call "rice" (which I hate BTW) and he admits it. Unlike some others who have to justify having those mods with some stupid excuse.

FYI:
You can have a body kit without getting a swap.
You don't have to put your car back to stock (exterior) until you get a swap or turbo.
Not everything you do to your car has to add HP.
Not every exterior or interior mod has to be justified by X amount of HP.
Not everybody is going to like your style and it doesn't matter.
Kabooki is cool!

I agree, he takes criticism well, but that doesn't reflect anything on the car.... it's broken...

I'm not a noob. I've been here since 99. For some reason my screen names kept getting deleted and so I'd have to get new ones. Who cares if someones new anyways? I don't see what the big deal is.

Not a bad idea, since you have a "new" motor and conceivably you could get some shavings/bits during the break in period. However, he is what I think, and remember this is my OPINION. With just a bar magnet stuck to the oil pan, you will get particles, they will become magnetized, they will begin to clump together, and after they reach a certain mass, I could see them being pulled off the magnet by oil flow, except now, they are magnetized, and stick together, so instead of a small metal filing in your oil system, now you have a big one...
:awais:

At least with a magnetic oil plug you can clean the shavings off every XX miles.

to take off the dizzy you just gotta unbolt it. there are 3 bolts holding it on, if i remember they're 12mm. just unbolt the 3 then pull it out and you will see the o-ring, make sure you have a rag to plug the hole or oil will begin to drip all over your trans.
Careful with this, you were on the right track, you change your ignition timing via rotating the distributor. I don't know if that still hold true with your MSD ignition you got there. be careful

I have to admit, the kid is taking criticism extremely well. for that.
Westcoaststyle, :goodjob: you gotta give props, as much as you give digs.

oh, and i need a new hood, and want a spoiler so what can yall suggest that wont take a months paycheck? Im still plannin on white rims, unless yall can talk me outta it (and dont say they are hard to keep clean, im a neat freak).
Personally, I dislike spoilers cause they impede your vision, I'm even holding out on getting a tint, because I think in a fast car it's very important to have a very good unobstructed view of things... for obvious reasons. (On the other hand, I'm thinking of like a 95% all around tint, cause I'm tired of gangsters at stoplights... Watching me bop out to shakira:rockon:.)

Luckily you don't have a fast car (especially driving around hitting things with no airbags )

Hey, congrats on the trunk lights, and wiring the nozzles to vtec, cheap vtec light, interesting concept, tell the cops it's an OEM feature :db:.

I think these little projects will boost your confidence to tackle some more involved projects. LIKE MAKING YOUR CAR FAST!!!

I don't really give a shit about what my car looks like, casue if things go right with the turbo kit, I won't be in one place long enough for anyone to critique it

Be careful, hanging out here, your tastes may change.
