Default side marker placement.

i got me some side moldings, but they don't come with the fender pieces. and it's really hard to find the fender pieces because i got the jdm thin moldings, and you can only get them as a set. i'm not about to pay $225 for a set of hatch moldings just for the fender pieces, so i was thinking about putting a side marker in that spot. what do you think? i don't think it looks too bad, but i wanted to get other opinions. it'd be pretty much like this pic except in amber.

I don't see why not. Even if they're not hooked up, I'd still do it. Just so it won't look weird to have moulding on the rest of the car and the fenders look empty.

So, you won the auction huh?

I think that would be a good idea since you have to put something there. Obviously not all that unique since you found a pic of it.. :chuckles:

What do the s2k markers look like?

I got a set of those EG sidemarkers I'll sell to ya! They are new in the bag.

Lemme know!

I've been considering doing the same thing myself. I want a smoke colored marker so it blends reasonably well in with the moldings.

Anyone go a DIY on this?

Hi, thought I'd help out here, I'm in the UK and the sidemakers come as standard (same as JDM ).

Here's a pic of mine

The S2000 and EG markers are the same
