I need to know if Im gonna be wasting my money or not if I get a b18b in my 93 vx hatch and turbo it Someone told me with a basic setup and a few bolt-ons I should be hitting high 13s. Is that true? How many lbs of boost can my car handle without changing the internals?

It's all about the amount of money you want to spend. You could safely run 8-10lbs or boost on a stock B18B (depending on mileage & prior abuse). But it will be a lot of money just to have a stock B18B w/ a turbo. I'd weigh out your options of building your stock motor w/ boost, bigger motor swap, or just running n2o w/ a swap.

 

Bahaha, my buddy ran a 13.5 on 7 psi on BALD street tires in his Civic EX Coupe (LS Turbo) If you're not hitting 13's something isn't right.

not as fast as a GSR :thumbup: but any bseries witha turbo :naughty:

 

LS Turbo will drop buslengths on a GSR. My other buddy CX GSR ran a 14.0 flat on slicks. Civic EX Coupe LS Turbo ran 13.5 on bald street tires.
