BTW you guys suck for ripping on the new guy so hard. At least he's got the balls to ask relatively intelligent questions. Some of the oldbies didn't even know the answer...... I'm not flamin' just trying to give the no0b some support.
Drag makes a sweet a$$ kit for about $3200 (you can find it cheaper on ebay and used/on sale here). It uses the Garrett T3/T4 turbo.
Greddy makes a good one too for cheaper, but not as powerful if you ask me.
I don't know a whole lot about turbos YET so someone else may be a better candidate for this one.

look at the greddy, fmax, apex, and a few other kits...they will give you some of the best suggestions and est. outputs. they have mad research into them, so take it from there.....price for kits start at 1500 or so(greddy non IC kit) to well over 4k
4K??? $4,000 for the Turbo Kit and $7,000 for a 96-98 Civic thats $11,000. You can Rip on me All you want, But I don't think I would pay money for a $11,000 96-98 Civic, that prolly wont even have over 250 HP I could get a Turboed Eclipse for 7-8K and put 3K into the Engine and KILL any $11,000 Honda...

anyway, the 4000 fmax kit pushes over 250 to the wheels, and is still daily drivable....plus a civic is lighter than an eclipse or whatever...its all what you want to make of it! yo could take a 3rd gen civic hatch($1000) drop in a b18c1($4k or so with the fabrication) turbo it and IC it($3000) and youre at 8k like your DSM...race those 2 and see how suprised you are
