my trunk light is on even when my trunk is closed. anyone else ever had this problem and know how to remedy it? i cant figure out where the sensor is located i figure the ground has gone bad but who knows. please help

try some WD40 on the lock latch?

no clue other than that.

 

I haven't ever looked at 6th or 7th generation gauge lights. But, if yours is anything like mine, the light doesn't necessarily mean that your trunk is open. That light just means that something is open, whether it be a door or your trunk. Check all your doors .
