Default New bumper: Gap under the corner lenses?

Hey guys, I got a new aftermarket (oem style) front bumper for my 92 hatch. Theres a good 1-1.5" gap from the bottem of the corner lenses to the bumper. The rest of the bumper lines up fine, like underneath the hood etc. Could I have gotten a 4dr. bumper instead? I'll post pictures if need be...
TIA
Later/joe

You can tell by the grill. Hatch and two doors have three indentions. 4-doors have two long slits for the grill. I think this is right or i might be plow smoke out my ass.

Sedan 4-Door Bumper:

Coupe/Hatch Bumper:

You probably got the right bumper, but it's the fact that those aftermarket bumpers never fit like OEM.

Pics would be good...

EDIT:

Does it line up with the fender? If not, I think the problem may be corner lenses, not the bumper...

:dunno:

Do you still have your cross member attached (that big metal thing underneath your front bumper)? If not, that could be the main reason why your front bumper is sagging. I didn't have mine on for the longest time and over time, the bumper just starts to sag without it. Finally put it back on recently and it got rid of the gap.

Thanks for the reply's everyone. So from the pics, it is in fact a coupe/hatch front bumper. The car was hit a while back, the rad support was replace along w/ the front bumper support.
I told the shop to put the new rad support on and I would take care of the rest. Of course they had to break my corners and my headlight brakcets also.

So I put some shitty leaky clear corners on there for the time being. Replaced the hood w/a white one of a hatch, put the somewhat busted headlights back on, and bought the aftermarket bumper off ebay. I know I have seen a civic on this board w/the same gap problem.
Here are some pics... dont mind the white hood etc. I paint cars and just picked up the paint last week... lexus graphite pearl : ) Some new amber corners are comming in the mail too. This me and my brothers plan B car incase my lude or his dsm is down : ) So bare with me.. hehe.

What do you guys think now?

holy shitty corners batman...

the bumper fits fine... it's your corners that have problems... is your bracket bent? Are you using sedan corners on a hatch?!

Also, your car is my twin... black bumper & all... 'cept I have different hub caps...

Just from looking at that first pic (I'm too lazy to sign in) your problem could also lie on your headlights. Get a new set of OEM headlights and corner lights. I think this would solve your gapping problem.

Make sure that the bracket is level, I know one time I got it caught on something and it bent down the bracket, so I just bent it back up and it snuggled up there just great :bigok:.
