Default new wheels, looking for info

I have a 1997 Civic EX, only has some light mods at the moment like a short ram intake and such

Looking to get some wheels, more specificaly 16 inch enkei rsf2 with toyo proxes fz4 tires. Would there be anyone that has those wheels be able to tell me their opinion of them, are they any good and such, info on the tires would be nice too.

Thanks for any info

Does Enkei even still make those wheels? But just to let you know, I would steer clear of the FZ4's. Those are probably Toyo's worst tire. Probably comparable to Nitto's NT450's.

How are those tires when it comes to wear factor, since my car is still fairly stock i don't really need anything that is super sticky. My future plans for the car so far involve an acura type r engine with either a supercharger or turbo but it's nowhere near that level yet

But something that's a decent compromize between sticky and reasonably long life while still staying in a tire that is fairly agressive?

Thanks for the info so far though, it's appreciated.

i'd probably go with the b16 because i was told that the ls engine would make the car have alot of understear, correct this if i'm wrong though.

the yokohama tires do look good though, seem to have better tread wear rating than the toyo tires too

btw, as some may or may not have noticed, i am no mechanic, but i'm not afraid to learn, research is a good thing

they have a 280 wear rating... there are less sticky more wear easy alternatives out there..

Youre wrong Just messing.... the B-series engines are a little heavier than your stock d-series, between 70-100lbs, which might contribute to a little bit of understeer, but it would probably barely be noticable, if at all. The difference in weight between a b16 a b18 and a b20 is neglegable, probably less than 30 lbs. To put that in perspective, all your A/C components weigh about 60lbs. Its not until you throw in something huge, like a H-series (almost 200lbs more than your stock engine) that you start to have serious understeer problems.
