as for not killing them, i just watch where i'm going and avoid potholes/debris/road blemishes.. just use common sense. ive had 3 sets of 17s on my car and no problems.

definitely need some rear discs in there.

if they came in 16's, i'd probably be all over them. but i'm actually thinking about painting my gunmetal because i have a polished lip, and they're 16. that's what would make me happy. 16's in gunmetal w/ polished lip. and there just aren't too many like that.

The only one that comes to mind are the Competitions, and there aren't too many of them running around...

i would say don't get 17s! while they look great, it's not worth the hassle. and yes i'm a hypocrite for rollin on 17s but i am trying to sell them. i don't have problems rubbing, but the roads here are sooo sh!tty that it's just a hassle to have to worry about all the time. but i think they look great! so it's a tradeoff, and wish i went with 15s initially.

kaizix: yesh i know i need rear discs :happysad:

i wouldnt have gotten the 5zigens if they werent so light. 16.5lbs each..

randomtask: rota grid now comes in 16...

fromthebottom: i dunno man.. the roads here in MD and PA are pretty damn bad, and all 3 sets of my 17s have been fine.. just gotta be careful. i'm careful anyway cuz of my kit and all, so i dont mind.. sometimes its fun to dodge potholes

Yeah, there are a few 16" wheels out there with a polished lip, it's just that SSR was the first one that popped in my mind. Velox has their VX-8R's that are also 16's.

so then i ask you. think i should paint my rims? it'd be so much cheaper. but do you think it would look as good? or should i just be happy with what i've got (since i wouldn't have enough for new rims for quite a while).
