Default Trunk fitting

I was wondering why my trunk isn't sitting flush on my car. The driver side is sitting slightly higher while the passenger side is flush. I know about the rubber bumpstops near the edge and while those are just out completely, I still get the same problem. So the trunk is literally sitting on the rubber seal that is on the trunk frame and it's still higher on the driver side.

Sounds like one of the support arms for your trunk-lid is bent or loosening up. Have you had your trunk open for exteneded periods of time or left it open and had the possiblility of someone pushing on it??

Well, I took off the trunk to have some work done to it, and then reinstalled it. But now it won't sit flush the second time around. I'm thinking that it might be the latch or something else. I know it's not a big deal, but it's one of those little things that bother me every time that I see it.

The same thing happened when I reinstalled my hood. I took it off and put it back on and it solved the problem  Maybe give it a try

You mean latch right? Yeah, I tried adjusting the latch. I'm gonna have a friend help me out this time. It's pretty difficult trying to adjust a trunk by yourself...

Oh ok. Yeah, hopefully that's the only problem and that I could get that resolved.
