Default Shaving Front Emblem

I want to shave my front emblem. I was planning on patching the holes with bondo and then painting that with touch-up paint. Will this look ghetto? Should I just wait untill I have the funds to get the whole hood painted? Thanks.

Wait until you can get the whole hood painted. I just filled mine last month. It took a decent amount of fill, and on top of that... it took a lot of sanding to smooth it. So, that would be a lot of touch up paint you'd be using. It shouldn't cost too much to paint just your hood... call around and get some estimates.

basically, it will look like sh*t if you use touch up paint. definitly, definitly, DEFINITLY wait 'till you got the money to paint the whole hood. it really shouldn't be that much.

Thanks! I will wait until I can afford painting the whole hood.

I waited until I got my whole car painted. It only cost $40 more to have it done.
