is it possible to take apart my 97 hatchback taillights (red, clear, amber) and clear them out to look like 99-00 hatchback (red, clear) taillights? i figure since you can do this to the headlights, maybe you can do it to the taillights also. is this possible? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, peace.

 

i dont think so. the plastic is amber, there is no lense behind it.

 

paint over the top of the orange.

 

just buy the 99-00 hatch taillights.

 

buy a candy apple transparent paint for like 4 - 5 bucks n paint it..
save urself lots of money...
