new clutch..cant decided.
i drove my car for a little bit today...and i cant launch the car...the clutch spins put wont grip..which is probably leaving some nasty ass heat marks on the fly
even in 3rd gear if i WOT is spins, i have to gradually apply gas to get to WOT..i have a stock clutch with less than 4K miles and the flywheel was freshly cut on install. anything i can do for now before i get a new clutch??
what clutch do you recommend, i always liked ACT but what about other brands???

LOL, i don't think the person who installed it bled your clutch... it shouldn't do that with less than 4k on the clutch. even with you're Turbo it should hold out better than that... i had a fried clutch and i had to ease it out of first and then i could gradually get it to WOT, until it got so worse that everytime i stepped on the gas all i would hear is VRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM (slipage)
I'd say ACT or Clutch Masters stage 2 clutch.
Also, right now if its like that... baby the car well, don't do WOT, it'll fry you're clutch before you know it, then you will have no car until you get the new clutch.
ps - if you baby the car you'll get miles from the shot clutch, i got 1,000 miles on a very badly slipping clutch and not bled by the last person who installed it. good luck CRUCIAL

Don't forget to look at other brands besides the typical ones. I got a SPEC Stage 3 for $295 shipped from www.enjukuracing.com. It's a 6-puck disc and has just a little more firmness in the pedal than stock. The torque capacity is just over 300ft/lbs. Not to bad considering it's about $100 less than the ACTs (which don't have close to the torque capacity on the Stage 3). Comes with a new T-out bearing and alignment tool. I put 100miles on mine and took it to the track. Just don't forget to replace the pilot bearing. I did and it makes little noises.

I run the ACT XTSS with Clutchmasters 7.5lb flywheel.
I just got the ACT HDSS, i didn't want something too crazy and i knew i wouldn't put out more than double stock whp/torque so it's plenty good. The pedal pressure IS a bit stiffer than stock (maybe like a stock prelude) but it's still VERY reasonable and i didn't even notice the difference after about a week of driving my car again
