Default Clutch engaging in Neutral?

Was changing brake fluid & bleeding them this weekend... noticed a strange thing... jacked up front passenger side and turned car on neutral, the wheel was spinning, but not fast, according to my speedo 2mph. The wheel would stop when I hold it, but it still didn't seem right to me. I am running the stock clutch and flywheel for now.

It stopped when I pressed the clutch. After a while, it stopped alltogether.

I asked around, some people said it's normal... but I still don't see how this should be?

We also changed fluid on a Bimmer, but his wheels didn't spin.

Any input would be appreciated!!

BTW, I put in ATE Super Blue Race Fluid, it's NICE!

why is it normal for the wheels to spin in neutral? that doesn't really make sense to me either. in gear, sure. but neutral (no gear) why would they turn? i though that was the point of neutral.

so, if it's still in neutral, and you hold on the the wheel, it would stop, would that be bad for it at all?

it would be just like sitting at a stoplight in neutral,...so no it would not be bad for it

Yea. It's nominal, only 2mph, so it's not harmful.
Thanks guys, wanted to make sure.
