Default AEM install pics

i just installed a cold air intake for the first time, i jsut want to show some pics to make sure i did it right. one thing i wasnt sure about was the rubber tubes that came with it. i unplugged the original thing from the Factory intake and just put the rubber tube on the end and looped it around to the AEM intake. I was gonna unplug it and redo it with the two rubber hoses, but there is only two of them and there were three seperate hoses coming off of it. anyway here they are.

heres the rubber hose that i looped around.

is it all right if it is rubbing up against the rubber fender shit. it doesnt seem to be actually hitting the filter, just the plastic part of it.

I'd put a bigger washer on that fork where you have it bolted to the body, but that's it.

Nice work!

Default What's up?

The crank breather hose should be fine. You could acutally completely bypass the actual hardline between the breather and the intake but the way you have it will work too. The only other thing I could check is to make sure it's not rubbing against the front lower tranny mount. My AEM did and it started to rub a hole. I took the mount off and grinded it down a little and it was fine. I didn't have the lower rubber mount either though, so that might save you. Seeya.
