Default Red Line Fluids - Yay or Nay?

My buddy swears that on the MX6 message board he read all about this Red Line racing fluid making a HUGE difference. He said that the auto-transmission fluid they make can make my auto shift faster/better than the average guy can shift their manual.

Is there any truth to this? Is it that great?

How about their coolant? Their website says it'll make your operating temperature 30% lower...

I answered your question You can get Redline Water Wetter at Pep Boys now and Autozone.

Redline is good stuff but Mobil 1 does the same for 1/2 the price. But sometimes the Redline synthetic tranny fluid is too slippery for Honda trannies. Some people in the East Coast Honda Challenge use a mixture of synthetic and non. The syncros need some friction.

Thanks for the help. I will be out looking for the Mobile 1 stuff tonight.

What kind of mixture (synth/non) would you recommend? 50/50 60/40 70/30
