There's this one small thing about the 5th gen coupe and sedan tails that has always bothered me.

I've seen the taillights with the reverse light completely white (rare) and sometimes with a slight orange tint to it. Was this a year difference or what? :dunno:

I hope somebody knows.

 

someone just used a set of red/clear inner pieces is all...

 

i've only seen them with the orange around the reverse part. maybe it's just the inners of red/clears. :dunno:

 

No you guys are misunderstanding me. The inner portion still is red on the bottom and has orange around the rectangular reverse section, but some of the reverse sections are clear white, while most have tiny orange lines going through it, giving it a orangish tint.

 

Clear as in "euro" clear (like you could see the bulb through the lens?) or clear as in those orange lines weren't present in the lens?

Yeah those have the orange lines like I see all the time. I want the "cleaner" looking non-striped ones.

Oh yeah I'm going back to stock tails to compliment my stock headlights and corners btw

?? got these from some guy. they're usdm oem. my mom has the same kinds (stock 95 cx hatch). maybe they are from newer years? i don't know what year the ones i got were from.

 

Maybe it's the hatches cause my sedan had those nasty orange yellow lines too.
