Ok, I decided not to go with the Acura EL parts (hard to find & expensive). But I still want to convert my 96 Civic into 99-00. I just need to get the trucklid and taillight from a 99-00 Civic sedan right?

I really want to go OEM rims now.

I'm starting to feel 16s look too big on civics, for some reason

 

if you must go OEM, go with the 95 GSR rims, theyre 15" and look sweet because the blades arent as fat as those del sol rims

or get some 99-00 blades from a GSR, those are nice too, but i believe those are 16, or you could always go with si rims, but i dunno how many people are sporting those in your area since those are probably the most popular OEM rims

 

GSR's get my vote.

As for the EL taillights. A while back i actually heard of someone cutting away the part of the trunk lid where the EL lights continue ( to the license plate area). Kind of like molding them in. I'm not sure how it would workout tho. Cheaper just to go with the red/clear outer lights like str8edgexx and 18secFerio.
