Like the progression of things would be front CW front bumper, CW side skirts, and then maybe a CW knockoff coupe rear bumper since CW doesn't make a coupe bumper?:dunno:

According to extremedimensions.com, this is a "Cwest" rear bumper for the coupe...

1. I have seen a C-West front on a 99 Si. Now the Si uses stock sideskirts found on the EX simply painted. It looked perfectly fine to me, Jon you just need to paint your side skirts, and we've already mentioned that so.

Go on with you "progression" as planned and everything will work out fine...oh and that rear randomtask posted is so hot looking its not funny...

HA! And aren't those your rims too??

Like oc_civic said... You will end up getting side skirts and possibly the rear valance/lip.

Believe him... or me. It's one thing to see something in pictures but, it's a whole different thing to see it up close & personal in real life size.

It's kinda like speakers. You don't just buy them because everybody says so. You audition them first prior to purchase to make sure that's what you want!

EVEN if it lines up (which i dont think it does) its still far to aggresive (imho) it lacks flow..ON the OTHER hand.. ive seen it on a car with SOME aftermarket sideskirts (not sure what kind they were) and STOCK rear bumper.. and i actualy like that.. i dont like rear valances at all.. ive seen plenty of cars with incomplete rears and it looks fine to me since the cars aggresive points are pushed foward..

True about the rear valance and the aggressiveness of the front compared with sides...

I'm sure it would look pretty decent without the rear, but I just don't know. The lines on all four sides of a 98 Civic Ex Coupe are just not that nice. To have the C-West front, aftermarket sides and no rear will look unbalanced IMO.

That Blue SI is NICE!!!

IMO, that silver Civic looked dumb. The front looked too "wide/big" and needs something to balance it out. Also that lower "lip" part of the bumper should have lines to flow into. Meaning the side skirt needs to follow the line where the bumper left off. A side with the same thickness as the little lippy part of the bumper would work nicely. I've seen some pretty bad combos of side skirts and bumpers. Unfortunately you can't test out the stuff before you buy, so you have to do you best with pictures and use good judgment. Lots of angles help too....the more, the better.
