Help Asap!!!!
ok first off i need to have my car done by tommarow morning. right now im in the middle of my b16 tranny swap. im positive everything is unbolted/disconnected. but i spent 3 hours last night trying to disconnect the damn bellhousing from the block. its all gullded up, ive went thru half a can of PBblaster and broken a small tab on the tranny casing trying to pry this mother off, im just looking for some suggestions fast, cause i need my car tomarrow (carlisle) and any help is greatly apppriciated.
i dont understand why this is so hard because an ACT clutch was installed not even 4000 miles ago, but all the tranny bolts were overtorqued but not stripped

did you take the flywheel cover bolts off?
there are a bunch of brackets connecting the tranny to the block underneath by the oil pan.
i'd say 2 brackets you may of missed those, there are also i believe 6 big bolts connecting the tranny to the block.
you did remove the axles right????

everything is off, but possibly the flywheel cover bolts. thats the thin metal plate next to the oil pan w/ 3 smaller bolts right? the bolts are out but the plate is still kinda resting in there between the tranny and the mounts you mentioned, hold ion i'll get some pics and post em, maby you guys can spot something im missing

haha im a retard, i didnt take off the damn starter! thanks andy, man im glad i did this on my own for the most part, its been a good learning experience thusfar

hell ya your retarded:fawk: no seriously that happens to the best of us i dont know how many times that while doing a swap i forgot to unbolt one thing and i sat there for hours thing WTF then someone comes along and says dude you have to disconnect this :slap: and then i am like i am a Fugin Retard cause its always something as simple as what you had.

hey yea, it was my first time trying it on my own, so im allowed. after i got the starter off, i had the new tranny in within an an hour and a half, plus 96cpe came over to help, so that spead things up alot too
