Default Trouble code help - fuel delivery

I just finished my d16z6 swap intop my 94 Cx. I'm getting a Code 43: "Fuel Supply System defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system." The CEL does not come on all the time and goes away if I turn the car off and back on. I'm going to replace the fuel filter tonight or tomorrow and see if that helps. I know the injectors and fuel pump are good. The only other thing Bakeoff was able to come up with is a little breather-dealie on the end of the fuel rail that is was not present on the d15b8 (we swapped the hose and fitting over). Any other ideas? Thanks!

is the "breather-dealie" the fuel return line or the fpr vaccum line? both would cause fuel delivery probs

Helms manual says it's most likely a problem with the O2 sensor circuit, or fuel delivery system. I would double check the wiring leading to the O2 sensor. Does it run okay, or do you have irregular idle/performance?

Runs fine as far as I can tell. O2 sensor would be a good thing to check, although I already had a code 41 and fixed it by re-seating the power wire running to the sensor. The breather dealie is not on the return line.

I think he's talking about the little white diaphram.

Another suggestion from helms is to try and reset the ECU.
I'm trying to give you the easiest solutions first, before getting too involved.

Yup, that's the one. I've been helping Spood with all the work onthsi thing, and it's got me stumped... And I hate being stumped... WE're going to throw the diaphram on tomorrow and see what it does. We did replace the return line with a bigger diameter hose cause the old one got cut too short.
