Where can i get cheap headers that work
What are good headers that would work for my 94 EX........I was told headers don't do much for power. Especially if you are all motor...................just wondering if anyone has any tips.

As for headers, i would rather hold of, and not spend 200-300$ for something that gives only 3hp.

Headers wont do anything for you alone.
Get some camshafts, gears, valvesprings, along with an intake, exhaust. You'll know gains with the header then.

dam you funny max.......but i aint no noob........i'm tired of peeps saying shit adds power when i never see proof, just words.......the reason the name is that prolly is because i lived in japan for 2 years and had a dam type r civic (b16b in case you didn't know). But being in military doesn't allow that car over due to emissions in USA.
Adding a header will get a small boost in performance. More efficent designs and materials exist than than those used by Honda. You won't get 20 hp from a simple header upgrade, but you will get some, probably 2-3 hp on the top end. Something you may not notice from the seat of your pants, but will probably be worth a tenth at a track.
Like asiandood said, everything is part of a system. If you upgrade your engine that it can breathe more air (better cams, better intake and exhaust) the stock exhaust manifold will become a bottleneck and an upgrade will get you more gains than just a stock engine. A header is also a very modification to do, so it's a good thing to learn. Seeya.

Oh and as far as adding power, it won't do much for power.. but you WILL save a LOT of weight. I couldn't believe how much that stock manifold weighed.. I'd say you will drop off at least 10 lbs, which never hurts when you don't have much power to begin with. And I agree with you about people saying shit about parts that don't do anything.. That's why you need to research everything thoroughly before buying. If you want a header, then maybe you should look into a used one made by a reputable company. I got my DC Ceramic back in the day for like 150, and back then that was a good price.
