Default How much is too much

I got a 94 civic ex coupe...I bought some dropzone lowering springs for $114 but the drop is 2.5 front and 2.25 rear.......i got 15 in. stock prelude rims on.......is that to low or what...i was told my control arm would scrape. tell me so i don't waste my money. how low is to much.

it's all personal preference. if you go super low, of course you're going to scrape somethings. my cat scrapes more than anything else. but i have a pretty low drop (i'd say somewhere between 3 and 4 inches...i don't know for sure). but i would say that 2.5 is a decent drop that would hurt too much. if you're worried about stuff, i would say not to go below 2", but it's all up to you. (my pref is to drop it way down. i'm not a fan of wheel gap).

Probably plugged and redrilled. My friend wanted to do something similar, but felt the money spent wouldn't be worth on such a "mod".

get some new shocks, and a camber kit b4 you blow your shocks...

Being too low can accelerate wear on your driveline and suspension components. Also wearing out your shocks quicker, making your back sore, and other things

Plus being too low makes too much negative camber which for daily driving can wear out tires quickly.
