I've looked at a MaxRev kit that Kyle at K-motorsports is selling (was on GBC). It comes with a T3/TO4E turbo, MaxRev BOV, DIY piping, cast manifold, lines, Apexi filter, Tial 35mm WG, FMI, 2.5" DP and a Hondata S200B for just under $3000 shipped.

I am also looking at a custom kit with a Turbonetics T3/T4 with a 50 trim, cast manifold, Blitz BOV, DIY piping, Tial 35mm WG, 3" DP, FMI for about the same price shipped.

The MaxRev kit is a complete kit, but the custom kit has some better pieces.

Suggestions/opinions?

Thanks!
Fmax has a nice kit as does RevHard. I've read some people have fitting complications with the MaxRev :dunno: What size IC are you getting?

if you can score a revhard for a few more dollars i'd get that, cause i believe the hondata setup you are getting is just stage 2b which isn't that expensive of a setup.

i dunno i'm not diggin' the DIY piping thing. My friend got all his piping for his turbo setup done for $250. that's downpipe running into the exhaust the pipe from the wate gate running into the exhaust piping. All the piping to go from the turbo to the intercooler the charge piping and the thing to bolt on the BOV. everything for $250.. you can score up a turbo manifold rather cheap, get the turbo get an old beat up on and rebuild it, or just get a nice new one. Get everything else comes out pretty cheap.

Westcoast style I noticed you are stationed @ Maxwell, I'm not military, but I to live in Montgomery. I am also researching/shopping turbos for my ex coupe. If you know anyone else, maybe we can get a group buy going, and also after your purchase are you going to install it yourself or get it installed here in town.

Just bought it. SleeperCivicEX has an EX with an Apexi kit on it. He lives in Pratteville, but works on Gunter - I live on Gunter and have nothing to do with Maxwell.

PM me sometime.
