Default Brake/alignment question

I don't recall it happening before I put new wheels/tires on my car, but it might have:
When I'm braking, like at a stoplight, not so much at speed, my car pulls to the left pretty hard. It doesn't always do it, but when it does, if I let go of the wheel, it will turn almost 90 degrees to the left. It's weird (and annoying). My alignment isn't perfect, but it's not too far off. During normal driving, the car pulls slightly to the left, depending on the slant in the road. Not so much if I'm in the right lane. Anyone had this happen before or have any idea what it might be?

Thanks!

Sounds like you have a bad caliper or air in the lines on the right front. Bleed the system and check your pads and calipers for proper opperation.

Tires are brand new...definitely all the same tires. 4 wheel alignment was done a couple months ago, but then I hit a basketball-sized piece of snow/ice on the highway at about 70mph (DOH!! cracked my bumper too ), and then my car pulled slightly when driving. However, I didn't notice the pull while braking until I put the new tires on.

was the alignment done before or after new tires? if it was done before the new tires, it's time for a new alignment.

Ahhhh...yeah, the alignment was done before the new tires.

Ok, thanks a bunch guys! I'll look into the stuff you suggested this weekend.
