well, i left my car in a parking lot that i know the cops drive through, and i have left it in before. went to a club with the gf and another friend. had a few drinks with the intent that the gf was driving, and off we went. i came back 2 hours later to find my passenger side window gone, all my **** from my glove box all over the parking lot, my brand new cell phone gone(they left the $100 car kit though) 1 pair of my 6x9's gone, half a cartain of cigarettes, my sunglasses, cds etc.......the speakers were found mangled across the parking lot, and the rock they used to break the window put a hole through the drivers side door pannnel:madfawk: so now its saturday, i'm at work, i got no sleep and i need to get ahold of the damn insurance company and atleast get a window put in....this sucks ass

btw, i called my cell phone and the ass that stole it had the nerve to answer it

You should call your phone company and have them trace where your cell is and find out and go beat the **** out of that dude!!

 

i just called them....they deactivated the number until i either get that phone back, get another phone, or reactivate my old phone. they said they dont have a record of calls yet....or dont have access to it, but it will show up on my bill. and cingular wireless cant be traced for security WTF@#$ that phone costs around 500 to replace too nokia 3360

 

cops can trace it have to have a warrent first though that really sucks i hate the fact that people don't give a **** about anybody but themselves that is why i love this board everybody helps each other out with their cars i hope you the best of luck with getting that bastard i'd help beat it out of him

sprintpcs now has GPS and can locate your phone something like that... I'm reallie worried about my car now after I put on my exhaust. always check if its still there, etc.

 

well, waiting for the adjustor at this point.....i have full coverage and ****, but on theft, there's a $500 ded. which really blows.

 

don't worry about the deductable. Think about the expense of everything stolen... phone was 500, cd's at 15 or more a piece, speakers, etc, etc. You'll end up feeling better about it once you have a check. Sorry it had to happen man.

 

well, the cell phone isnt covered, but it looks like i'm gonna get the glass for free, then the ded. will go towards the speakers, broken plastic/drivers door, cleaning, labor, and PAINT i'll get my car touched up, get the scraped side skirt repainted, and then i'll have to pay for the cell. thankfully i can do all the work except for the paint/glass myself. that will save some $
