Just wanted to say Hi, and the information ive gotten off of this board in the past day or two have helped alot in my decisions. Ive got a red 93 si and am waiting for my "friend" to find me a ls/vtech. Soon as I get some pics I will post em.

Be careful, the LS/VTEC hybrid family is not a very good engine for a noob Just make sure it is built up before you rev above the stock redline, or you are going to destroy a good (and expensive) motor. You may want to look into a B16A for the time being.

BTW, VTEC= Varitable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control. No H in control.

Im a newb to this board not engine swaps. But thanks for the information. However I am a newb to civic's this is the first one I have owned, previously had a 3rd gen accord. I was also gonna ask what do you guys think of the maxrev products? They are located locally and I know a couple of them. But I dont know anyone besides the workers that have used their products so Im looking for an unbiased answer.
