did the sol seats come in all black with no stripe?

 

The seats in the 96-97 del Sols had no colored stripe, but they were not black...more like very dark gray with "color sparkles". I'll post a pic of mine later from my 97 Sol.

The stripe is still there, it's just not colored anymore. In my opinion, these seats are much nicer than those in the older Sols. The fabric is thicker and much more comfortable.

They look much better in real life than in pictures. They always seem to photograph badly. They go with the interior of the car very nicely...they are really darker than they look in the pics.

 

Does anyone have experience with the GSR seats. How's the height? Headroom? Can you move the seat back as far? I'd like something more comfortable, mine are worn out and getting hard.

 

I have 00 Type-R seats in my Sol. They sit quite a bit higher than the Sol seats.

 

Now that I think about it, yes...but only in Europe. Black leather seats were an option; with no stripe to be found.

You could get the leather seats in the US too.

 

...And I plan on doing so as soon as I have the cash lol.

It's just too bad they weren't a factory option.

 

Damn those seat are nice . I'd like to get some nice comfortable seats cause the stock ones are too damn hard. I think I'm 2'' shorter after driving this car around.

 

I know this is a little bit off the subject.... but could you put some Teg R seats in there? Im talking about the black ones with red stitching. anyone know if you could get one in there?
