Rims came in today...but without the tires. I was supposed to get the Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's, but they are no where to be found. They offered me the Nitto 450 Xtreme Performances to compensate because they had them in stock. I don't know how these perform.

Would this be a good trade even up?

yeah, id say go for it...i have the 712s and they rule, but my friend has the nitto's on his supra and loves those too....i'd say go for it, and have them pay for the mount/balance.

Do NOT under any circumstances get the Nitto NT-450's! They are possibly the worst tire in the market today. Try to get the Kumho's again or Falken's or just get your money back. Many folks on this board will tell you (through personal experience) that the NT-450's are not worth purchasing.

No. The problem with the 450's is that they will either bulge on the sidewall, have cracks along the sidewall of the tire, or worst, both. And this isn't even racing with the tire. This is just your normal everyday wear and tear use.

But that's not saying that every (505's, 555's, etc.) Nitto tire is bad. But from personal experience, the 450 is a really poor tire.

I would prefer the Kumho's over the 450's any day. :thumbup:

Good choice! :thumbup: I was planning on getting the same tires for my 16's. BTW, I noticed on your sig that you have the Tein SS coilovers. How do they perform and how much did you get them for, if you don't mind me asking.
