yea the LS is a good motor, my buddy runs 14.7 consistantly w/ intake, header, exhaust, underdrive pully, and a 2 degree advance in timing. hybrid built that car too, fastest LS swap around here
check out www.fuzionauto.com
they recently did a 5th gen b16 swap with auto to manual tranny swap..
i talked to them and they charge 60/hr which is pretty cheap

it came outta that rolled GSR sitting down there. the kid actually went to my school and rolled the car at the begining of the year. kinda funny, i just walked up and thanked him and walked away last week
spend that extra 10 minutes figuring out how to wire up the vtecH <--:chuckles: i wish i did for the longest time..i ended up buying a GSR motor and took out the LS. you are rite tho', it is the best bang for the buck and it gives you peace at mind...good luck wit it..
Yeah, I think B18b is the way to go for a lot of reasons - price, CR ratio (great for boost right out of the box), street drivability (more torque down low that b18c or b16). If you want the power up top, just throw in some cams and you'll have a pretty fast street ride.
