I guess it should be asked, what do you do/plan to do with the car while it's got the new tires on?

You also got to consider other things as well too and prioratize which is more important than the other.

Your budget? Tread life? Tire mainly for more dry pavement or an M+S tire? Tread noise? and whatever else.

well performance is a big plus, but im also kind of on a budget. my suspension is decent. i have koni/gc right now and rear sway/upper struts, so i want the tires to just add on to the performance. i want them to last a while, but i can't afford to pay for too much right now. if they don't last too long its alright b/c i will have money in a few months. i just bought some new rims so thats why i need the tires.

avijiggybear, if you're looking for an economical tire that will compliment your suspension and you're not planning on using them in the snow, I recommend the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 ($76 on tirerack), Dunlop SP Sport FM901 ($75), or Yokohama AVS ES100 ($78). Let us know what you decide.

i like those tires as well but SCCA drivers are very disapointed with them. last year everyone in world challenge had to run them and everyone had higher times. this year they are still using toyo but they are DOTs now

Most importantly: are you going to be driving in harsh weather conditions?
