Default ??How to take off dist. rotor in 2000 civic??

Anyone know how to do this??

Pull off the dist. cap, then there is a little screw that holds the rotor on, don't lose it. You may want to use a magnetic screwdriver.

oh tenks....jus askin cuz my dad says the hole doesn't line up with the screw or sumthin like dat

It will only go on one way and it should line up with no problems. It's possible that he got the wrong one???

goes on one way, the rotor has ONE screw.

if you pull the cap off you can't always get right to the screw. you might have to bump the ignition over a couple of times to get it lined up. that's what i had to do when wiring my ignition.
