Default 2000 DX with B-series axel problem

I just swaped a b16a2 into a 2000 dx hatchback.

for some reason the driver's side axel wont fit in right??

I got a 2000 civic si axel??

and reason why??

it trys to go in sideways.??

it should go in you just need to sweet talk it. it takes a little shaking and shoving. try taking a board and puting it over the end of the axle and hit it in with a hammer?? i dunno your call

even if the axel goes in the basic size of it wont fit, it would hit on the block if it goes it.

I measured it

I've been told to get a 93 GSR drivers side
